Use the joy pad/toggle to move up, down, left and right and your OK button to enter. Alternatively you can use 2, 8, 4 and 6 and your 5 button to enter.
When first entering RedKings mobile you will see a start-up screen, you will not be able to click on anything yet.
Next you will come to the Main Menu:
Online – If you want to play against real players at Limit or No-Limit tables, select Online. Log in using your RedKings nickname and password.
Offline – Select Offline to play against 9 computerised opponents at a skill level of your choice in both limit and no-limit tables.
Help – Select this to access the ‘help’ section which contains detailed information on all aspects of the game.
Settings – In the settings screen you can choose to change the following options: turn sound effects on or off, display a 4-colour deck, display scrolling text across the screen, receive and pre-define your chat text, display detailed text, time limit on your offline moves and fast forward through the game.
Statistics – Here you can view your best hands (online and offline mode), game statistics (real money, play money and offline tournaments) and hand history. The game statistics can be reset at anytime deleting any previously saved details.
Exit – Press ‘Exit’ to quit the game.
If you select 'Online' in the player menu, you will arrive at the login screen. Enter your RedKings username and password (the ones you use to log on via a PC) and press OK.
A progress bar is shown while the game is logging in with your details. You can cancel your login by pressing 'Cancel'.
When you are connected the Table Options screen will be displayed. Change the different options – up/down selects the category and left/right sets the selection. Select limit or no limit games (game type), maximum number of players at the table (Max Players), real or play money (Money Type), the limit of the game (Limit), and select if full tables should be visible in the lobby list (Full Tables).
When you have finished making your selections press ‘Get List’ to retrieve a list of tables matching your chosen criteria.
In the lobby you can see available tables that match your selection and information about each table. The table information includes: table name, real or play money (R/P), number of seated players and maximum number of players (Seated) and the limit of the table.
Additional information about a chosen table can be retrieved by selecting the table (Up/down) and pressing ‘Info’. An information screen will appear which includes the following:
- Table name
- Limit
- Money type
- Seated
- Maximum players
- Number of hands per hour
- Average pot size
- Number of players per pot
To go to the table, press JOIN. To return to lobby list, press BACK.
Seating, Game Play and In-Game Options
Navigate around the table using the joypad and select the seat you want by pressing Enter. Left and Right pans the view of the table.
The cashier dialogue lets you enter the amount of money you want to bring to the table. Enter the amount you want to play for with the number keys and confirm with the OK soft key.
When seated at the table you will have the option to post big blind now to be dealt in on the next hand or wait for the big blind position.
Fold = Number 1 key
Call = Number 2 key
Bet/Raise = Number 3 key
Select the amount you want to bet by using up/down or by entering the amount using the number keys. Confirm your bet/raise by pressing BET.
Pressing the menu option at the table displays the in-game menu. Up and down selects different options in the table menu (seen on the right side of the game) and the enter button selects the currently highlighted option. The following options are available in the table menu:
Chat – Select this when you want to send pre-defined chat messages to other players at the table.
View – Choose between the standard 3D graphical game, a lighter, scaled down version or even a basic text version.
Autopost – Choose this if you want the game to automatically post your blinds. If you uncheck this option, the game will ask you each time it is your turn if you want to post your blind.
Sound – Toggles sound on/off
Leave – Leave the table and return to the lobby.
Menu – up and down will toggle between the following options in the statistics menu:
Best Hands – Displays your 10 best hands in online or offline mode – press offline or online.
Online Stats – Displays statistics about your online hands – number of played hands, number of hands folded pre-flop, on flop, on turn, on river and without fold. Press Real Money or Play Money to view stats in each.
Tournament Stats – Displays stats about your best results in offline mode.
Hand History – Displays the hand numbers of your played hands. These hand numbers can be entered at the website for more information.
Reset Statistics – This option resets all statistics stored in the client. A confirmation box will appear and you will need to press OK to confirm.
